Polymer 2.0 #1

This seems to be the best/most-material implementation of avatars in paper I've seen so far.

Would you consider updating it / accepting an update to it for Polymer 2.0.

The avatar does run in legacy/compatibility mode, however there is a bit of annoyance/bugs in bower related to side effects of trying to force it to install something not compatible with the version of Polymer being used. Plus any side effects of not be written to be compatible for 2.0.

I’ve never used Polymer 2.0, and don’t plan to in the near future, but I will sure accept any pull request.

you can check / use my PR. I migrated to polymer 2 the component

in the same way I have the migration to Polymer 3 in other branch. Once you accept the Polymer 2 migration PR and do the tag, if you want I can make the PR for the Polymer 3 version.
