Unable to load ANY savegame: Unknown News Info Type - ipaP

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Inept at loading any savegame (!) since a couple of days
2.stops/interrupts loading in the process of "loading people"...
3.freezes/crashes

Please describe the issue below.
it keeps saying:

Error Loading News Filter Infos :Unknown News Info Type - ipaP

What version of the editor are you using? On what version of OS X?
FM11SX (latest version, even downloaded again and reinstalled)
Version: OS X 10.6.7
