It comes from "idib" which is wallet. So ippengel is his/her wallet and of
course ippengir is their wallet.
I presume that phrase was used like the English saying "fat wallet."

oh, I figured it out - Josephs wrote it as CHIDIB / CHIDBENGEL.
why Palauans don't say it that way?
