Someone emailed me asking about 'Olngakireng'. Anyone have any ideas what this is? Could it be related to melngakl?

Yes. Olngakireng is an act of reconciliation, asking for forgiveness, peace, mend broken relationships, etc.. And from the verb Melngakl.

Examples:

1) Te mengudel a udoud lolab el mo melngakl a reng me bol ungil a rokui.

2) A kodall a olngakireng.

The second one is a common saying, referring to how when there's a death in the family, everyone should put aside their differences, let go of past grudges, reconcile, etc etc and come together.
