I think I have asked this question before, but couldn't find it on debugle. There are many Palauan songs that use the word construction "e ma" or "ema", which might be a kind of an odd construction of and (so), and (then), or something like that. The phrase is transcribed as "ema" in various song books. Does anyone know what this means or what is its proper presentation (i.e., "e ma" or "ema")? I've made a page with 5 example songs to help decipher this.  Uses of the phrase "e ma" Thanks
