Teraiuechasu.
It definitely starts with a "t"

Thanks. Added. Closing. "a kind of blindsnake that looks like a worm. Lives in old leaves."
jlukesemiwo@gmail.com replied,
Wait. Is that the definition? A kind of a blind snake that looks like worm,
lives in leaves?
I didn't see that in the original email.
Teraiuechasu is bioluminescence.
So maybe deraiuechasu is this other organism...
Sorry!

Whoops! I’ll reopen the Issue. Looks like we need confirmation of both of
these words now! :)
Teraiuechasu means bioluminescence? Can anyone confirm please?
Teraiuechasu/deraiuechasu means blind snake that looks like worm and lives in leaves? Can anyone confirm please?
Sorry, Lukes, that was my mistake of not forwarding the entire original email!

Teraiuechasu I know for sure. Some nights, a trip out for line fishing is
cut short due to bioluminescents in the water. They would say "Ng kmal klou
a teraiuechasu meng mekngit el dongereel."
The only time I hear this word used is when they refer to bioluminescents in the water, specifically when you see the sparkles or glows IN the water due to some movement. I've never heard one use the word to refer to the bioluminescence in, say, a jelly fish or firefly or fungi.
Extra note: There's a secluded spot in Koror, near Nikko Bay, that we've gone to a couple of times to swim at dusk to early evening because of the bioluminescents. When one dives in the water, treads in the water, swim around, they're surrounded by them. It's quite a spectacular sight actually.
Anyway, hope this helps. I'll ask about deraiuechasu.
