In the first verse of the song Ngerbungs (aka Dolmii a Titimel), composed in 1931, is the phrase: mak di omkeioi el mei. Yoichi Rengiil tells me that omekeioi means to journey back and forth. I don't see this or anything close to it in tekinged, but perhaps I am spelling it incorrectly. Here is a recording of the first verse from Clarence Ngemaes in 1988: https://hellaholler.com/ouchacha/mp3/ngerbungs-V1.mp3

I am very surprised that it is not in the dictionary, your spelling is
different from how I would spell it..."omekioi" but it is what Rengiil
says, back and forth in hopes for a miracle.
AUTOPARSE w omekioi v.i. to journey back and forth (potentially hoping for something miraculous to happen).
