I thought there was a word like KODANGKO which means heavy earth-moving machines. Like a backhoe or an excavator. Something like this:

But I asked a few Palauans and they don't know this word. Do they not know it or did I just completely imagine this somehow?

Perhaps you're thinking "oltongkou"? Or is it "oltengkou"?

Yes, to Kodangko as a "yak" in hanafuda.

I'll leave this open though because maybe we should add the yak.
