Mengiuid is to twist with fingers, like pinch and twist. Like getting excessive water from laundry before you hang. Sorry my English kinda went out the door right now. š per se ācheliuidā is tobacco leaves treated and twisted into a bundle called ācheliuidā. Hope it makes senseā¦

For the Ymesei Ezekiel song "Tal Morael," there are the lines: Le kau ke ngikel el kesebekuu / ke sekelekoll me ke uai sei / el morael e ke menguchiud er kau. All of the songbooks I have spell the word "menguchiud," which I understand means to twist or, in this case, walk in a sinuous path (like an eel), swinging your hips back and forth. Is this a different word than mengiud?
