Today's post on facebook by BELAUAN STORIES AND JOKES: A toktelengek a dilu er ngak el kmo, alsekum a high blood er ngak a ngmasch e tiakid a kirek el moruul er ngii meng kuk ngmasch el moriou. Is toktelengek or toktelengel a normal word for 'my doctor' or 'his/her doctor'?

Jargon. We love wordsmithery.

Like saying "Ungil tuts e kiaun, ng kora ungil a fermem me ng kilok mecheuid a felek." We wouldn't necessarily put it in the dictionary but if someone were to make a Palauan Urban Dictionary, those words would mosdef be all up in it, hundoP.

other opinions? I would be glad to add toktelengel as n.poss.3s. for toktang.

I personally have always just said "A toktang er ngak..." which as we know is another way to show the possessive form. Some Palauan words just require that. For example, "mamang er ngak" for my grandma.

And like Souang pointed out, we have become (or try to be) "creative" to show different variations.
