Can't launch Initial D Arcade Stage Zero Ver 2

Hi there, I'm trying to post my issue here because I'm getting crazy since 2 weeks. No way to make the game launch on my PC.

TeknoParrot version: Latest version

Did this issue happen with an older version: Yes

Game with issue: Initial D Arcade Stage Zero Ver 2

Detailed description of issue:

I'm trying to run the game with new profile (it does not work with previous also). Here is a video explaining what happens : https://www.loom.com/share/931a93216211491d9663ae349eca85d0

As you can see in the video, the game window is not responding and one of the 2 terminal window is crashing.

Reproduction details: Just launch the game ! :(

Any other details:

I think I've tried most of the tricks that I could find :

• at least 10 different dumps
• dumps working properly on friends
• run as an administrator
• at root of my C: drive
• changing resolution setting
• Remove antivirus
• deactivate windows 11 firewall
• ...

My config :

• Intel i5
• Nvidia RTX 3060 (with updated drivers)
• Windows 11

Hi there, me again !

After some tests, it's still not working. 😞

What I did was on another laptop (i7, Nvidia GPU, win11 , ...) :

• same game dump (using the same external HDD)
• same TP version
• same TP settings

It works fine on this pretty old computer. I can't understand the difference. What I can see is that the terminal window which is "auto-closing" on my previous video is printing out " Start LAN - install client" whereas I can't see this log message on my non-working PC (because the window is closing before).

I can just thumb up on this issue cause I'm experiencing the same.

Config : i5 12600kf, rtx3070 (last drivers), win10.

• at root of my C: drive

there's the issue. most of the tutorials people do on how to install and run IniD Zero advises you to not put the game in the C:\ drive, due to Windows Permissions shenanigans. Even with older Initial Ds (like 8, for example) also need to be stored somewhere else other than the C:\ drive. Because of compatibility issues and probably for performance aswell.

I have a black screen when I launch it , tried few dumps , nothing is working. the game is installed on an other drive than C:
