Detailed description of issue: This game has a test mode which is currently impossible to access. While the test switch itself isn't available in controller setup, there could be other problems to why test mode is currently not possible to access.

Any other details: This could explain other issues like either the game running at double speed or the starting lives set at an unrealistic value as both are configured through test mode. The former likely has the speed option set to 'TURBO' (default 'NORMAL' while the latter has the starting lives set to a seemingly random value like 9 or 30 (should be 3-7 in test mode and defaults to '3').
