Hi

I don't see your problem ... all icons are there.
Just click on them or on links and you can launch actions.

I too see the same issue. For example in this screenshot in the user
management page, I have no icons to be able to edit any of the settings for
roles, allowed or forbidden folders, etc. I cannot assign roles and restrict
users.

Version 2.0b5, firefox 6.0, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Try to log with admin account.
You should have the needed icons.

Can you tell me what is the role of your "gmadmin"?

It's the 3rd row in the screenshot I posted, ID #2, which has all rights,
including GOD role.

Is there a way to reset the admin account password?

You must log as admin to reset account passwords.

Ok, I was able to manually replace the password through mysql directly, and log
in as admin. Now, I do see the icons for roles and rights delegation once
logged in.

So, is there any way to grant the same configuration ability to other users,
such as my gmadmin account? I'd prefer not to have to give out the admin
credentials to everyone, but allow delegation of these abilies to my systems
admins.

Also, the password reset function for admin does not work. I can click on the
"forgot password" link on the login screen, I am able to generate the e-mail to
get to the create new password function, but when I click on generate new
password for the admin user, it does not send that e-mail. I do see the hash
change in mysql, so something is happening to the password in the database, but
it's just not getting sent out to the user.

I've got to check what is the strategy concerning the ability of role changings.

Concerning the 2d point, have you check if you have set correctly the smtp
parameters for email sending?

So I've quickly checked the strategy.

- Admin users can change any roles or folders access via "users management"
page.

- Manager users can change any roles of folders of normal users that have the
same roles of the manager. But a manager can't change its own roles or folder
access.

See next screen capture.
I'm logged as manager. As I've got roles "users" and "cpassman.org", I can
modify User with the same roles. But I can't modify user2 that have role
"company.com"

Is it more clear?

user has to be only admin to be able to modify all other users, first remove
the GOD role if assigned, refresh the page then do all the other desired
operations.

I believe this issue may be closed.
