Expecting jap can run in appfog.Because in china,linking dotcloud or openshift 
is too slowly.

APPFOG does not support websockets yet, but they will support websockets in the 
future.

can we use Socket.IO with Node.js  and run jap on appfog ?

APPFOG does yet not support websockets (APPFOG only supports Socket.IO 
websockets via XHR polling). So no, you cannot install JAP on APPFOG :(
