Enhancement - Tagging

It would really great to have a tagging system. 
Benefits would be multi directories for each file, thanks to messages in gmail. 

Google Drive provides this feature. 

Would it be complicated to make it by an additional plugin ?

Sure tagging can be added. But I'm not familiar with Google Drive tagging, and 
what does it mean to "be multi directories for each file"?

In Gmail there is "Labels" that makes it possible to have a special view that 
lists all mails with some label, are you referring to this?

I have planned this long time ago, so that user could search by tags. But such 
"tag listing" would be great as well.

However, I'm in middle of 2.0, so this will not happen until 2.1.

In Google Drive, you can tag each file with several tags, which are the same 
thing than directory. It means that it makes possible to classify each file in 
several directories.
It is indeed quite the same than in gmail.

What is the expected timeline for the roadmap ? When do you expect to reach 2.0 
& 2.1 ?
