Hmm a system that searches for tags from a pre-set list of image boards...
manually activated for one or many images, filtered by id.
Something like that?

Yes pretty much, but to keep it simple you could follow the source URL, which
in my case at least always points to the right post so you could just use that
ID and parse tags from that website if it has the danbooru API
Would be right amazing if you were able to do that :D
Like this tag parsing on upload could be made obsolete because these posts
nearly always point to a valid source anyhow

Using the source url is a good thing, but also it should only use white listed
boards. (pre-set list)
Users are able to set links. So maybe it will be a link to a not danbooru board
or a website. (e.G. FA)

Can you guys make a list of sites from where the tags could be fetched?
I think this feature will be merged with this one:
http://code.google.com/p/my-imouto-booru/issues/detail?id=87
which is, "to be able to get data from other sites".

Alright let's go :D
Some "simple" ones, since also Danbooru Style boards
yande.re
konachan.com
e621.net
wildcritters.ws
Some extended ones, if you like to ^__^
deviantart.com
furaffinity.net
pixiv.net
This is about all that I can think of right now. But I dare say there are more
Dunno if there is an easy and simple way to include all the danbooru style
boards, or not ^^

Hmm you can't get data from dA, FF and Pixiv because these sites don't offer
(as far as I know) an API to request for data, there's no way to search for an
image there.

Alright, shame but fine too, because they do not provide good tags anyhow XD
maybe you can however extract at least the artist name from the source?
it's often in the link ;)
this person here is lazy, so just evaluating what can be automated
