Current view set to "view all" after marking all as read #62

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set current view to "only unread".
2. Click to mark all item as read.
3. Current view will change to "all".

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that current view should remain to "only unread".
Current view should become empty after clicking on "Marking all as read".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7, PHP Version 5.2.11

Please provide any additional information below.
I have the same behavior on your demo version, maybe it's not a bug but a
feature, I don't know.

This behaviour ist desired. After reading all messages I would like to see all
messages instead of an empty list.

But thank you very much for the note.

Hi,

Thank YOU for coding this amazing software. I'm using it every days and I love
it. It's your code, so you write the behavior you prefer.

I wish you all the best

I tried to stick into it to patch it myself but did not found the right place.
:(

Could you give me a push in the right direction?
(Or a patch that doesn't go into trunk.)

For removing this behaviour, just uncomment the line 471-475 in
http://code.google.com/p/rsslounge/source/browse/trunk/public/javascript/base.js

Best regards
 Tobi

I just wanted to say that it work's now. Thank you.

I did not change anything, maybe it was some cache thing...but if I remember
right, I checked this with several browsers (which aren't my normal browser so
it shouldn't be in the cache)...I guess we will never know. :)
