on my test installation both rss feeds are working. Which Apache and PHP
Version do
you use?

Hi,
i have the same issue but with your Demo-Installation (using fx 3.5.7).
I added "FAZ - Aktuell" and "Welt" feeds but they doesn't show up and i can't
readd
them because "feed already exists". The pre-existing image feeds are available
for me.
Also i have on every category a little 0 beside the name. Only tried your
demo-version!

@tjado: In this case the reaction of rsslounge is correct: both, the welt and
faz
feed already exists. But you have to chose the correct view for seeing them. On
the
top right, you can select which feeds and entries you would like to see. If you
select only images, no text feeds will be shown.

Hi Tobi, apologies for the late reply.
PHP Version 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.10
apache-2.2 (don't have ssh access to the box. phpinfo tells me it's using
Apache API
version 20051115 which doesn't narrow it down beyond 2.2). If you need more
details
i'll have to contact the box admins.
I should've thought to test it first on your test setup before logging the
report,
sorry.

I can't reproduce any problem with your given feed urls.
Can you activate the logging and send me the log file?
You can enable the logging in the "config/config.ini". Set the option
logger.level = ALERT
to
logger.level = DEBUG
Than add the feed. Afterwards disable the logger (logger.level = ALERT) and
send me
the file: "data/logs/default". This would be really helpfully for finding the
reason
of this issue!
Thank you!

hi again Tobi,
sorry for the very late response. I played with this last weekend for a while
but
didn't get far. This weekend I dug a bit deeper and things got even worse, now
it
won't display any of my feeds :)
Below is an excerpt of my log in debug mode. From what I can tell it finds the
items
in the cache but doesn't display them.
I've tried changing the path to the cache in config/config.ini (rss.cache.path
=
APPLICATION_PATH "/../data2/cache/")to point it at a new empty directory. I get
the
same output as below, still no items are displayed (all my categories show 0
items).
I've tried changing the cache timeout from 1800 default to 2 (rss.cache.timeout
= 2),
no difference in behaviour.
I've tried adding the option 'caching' => false to $optionsBackend in
Bootstrap.php
to disable caching, no difference in behaviour.
At this point I give up :) Any thoughts or suggestions?
It's worth noting that if I create a new installation and add the cfp feed it
works
fine. It's after I add a few more feeds that it suddenly stops working. I'm now
running rssloung-1.2 by the way.
I also have a cronjob on a remote machine that fetches myrssurl/update/silent
every
15 minutes in case that makes a difference to things. I test rsslounge using
firefox3.1 and the latest chromium daily builds on an ubuntu jaunty machine
Thanks,
dent

Can it be, that your settings hide the feeds? You can chose in the top of the
application the filter settings. If you only select "only images" all text
feeds will
be hidden. Or if you set a priority range, any feed outside of this priority
range
will be hidden!

Thanks Tobi,
No, settings are normal. I never use the picture or priority functionalities so
the
settings are for everything and all priorities.
Don't worry about it though..
