Feature request: write php error details to the php error log

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Either: Try adding a feed when there are database schema problems
2. or: Issue any HTTP request that will fail with a PHP exception

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'd expected to see the details of any PHP errors written to the php error log.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

As a quick bodge, I added the following lines to:
application/controllers/ErrorController.php

        foreach ($errors as $error)
        {
            error_log ($error);
        }
