Maybe you have a custom theme?

Maybe you have a custom theme?

I only have this setting on themes. If you are talking about creating or importing theme - I did not done that. I like how the telegram looks simple with it's own theme settings, it's enough for me. Also changing night mode and going to classic day theme does not appear to change the thing that link does not shows, also just a plain text. image But I think even with some custom theme there should not be difference like in desktop the link on other telegram chanell not showing as a link, it's just a plain text, but in mobile app it shows link as a link. Unless it's some kind of spammers exploit they are using. Yes there is not only one of them now. Desktop image Mobile app image

Maybe some logs will show what is going on? I also included that log into top. Sorry for not doing it earlier. log.txt

I think you should make a channel with such a message provide the link to it here so the one who would like to take a look on you issue will be able to debug it.

the thing is it's not my message it's spammer message and idk how he done this sort of link with naming or anything. My links that I send in chats are showing correctly. That's why I think it could be some kind of spammer exploit to hide link in the text on desktop or desktop does not correctly shows his links. Even his group link with his text in create link shows normally to me. Maybe that the thing of him having a modified client to do that? image

But here is what I do not understand. The first his link is not even shown as "show channel" and from the second account link is also not present in the text. However on second message with link "as plain text", I got a window to "show the channel" as if desktop Telegram "sees" the link but shows as a plain text and does not show it in text itself to me like if I did this with "create link" in formatting. My created links shows fine. His not. But desktop client somehow sees the link in second message even if it does not appear to be in just a plain text.

Can't you just forward such a message?

Can't you just forward such a message?

it's deleted cause it's spam sorry. I can only see it now in "recent actions". And I don't want to be flagged by telegram as spammer for forwarding such messages cause he will got banned with reporting.

Even on portable version within sandbox nothing changes. So it's not something "wrong" with my installation of desktop telegram.

Well, I'm there will be any work on the issue then...

Well, I'm there will be any work on the issue then...

I understand that this is really complex situation. Idk how can I safely help to determine what he has done to the link to do so. Well anyway thanks for help. I still think he is using some kind of modified client to do so. So desktop telegram is not parsing his link in text and shows it as plain text. The one that confuses me is that in first message he got no "view channel" button so parsing link not went correctly as plain text. But on the second account and message of spammer it also were as plain text only with parsing the link in it correctly with "view channel". So on second message desktop telegram sees the link but still parsing it as "plain text" with a difference of button to "view channel".

I tried to copy the text with this link from the mobile client, usually when pasting it into VK it is displayed in brackets hidden links in the text as they were created, it is not displayed, it comes out the same as just text. Because I usually copy some posts from the telegram to VK group from the admins and there when pasted into VK shows all links as they created and contained within text. But here it just pastes as plain text. I am even more convinced that this is some kind of exploit or mod client, which allows you to hide the link in the text, but it is shown on the mobile app and you can even click on it. Like the link does not exists in text but even mobile telegram is still parsing it somehow, cause there is no link in brackets when copied to VK form of creating post. I am like confused now about how this even works and what he had done to do so.
