@reallyuniquename Thanks! I can reproduce both.
While this is mostly fixed there is still like 20% chance for the search widget to popup when you open and close a video in a group you are not a member of.
If you switch to some other app using taskbar and then go back to Telegram it also might trigger this bug.
Again this is very inconsistent.
Steps to reproduce
Open a group chat by following a t.me link or using ︙ → View Discussion. You must not be a member of that group.
Click on any picture or a video.
Click again to close a media viewer.
Another case.
Open a group chat by following a t.me link or using ︙ → View Discussion. You must not be a member of that group.
Minimize Telegram app.
Maximize Telegram app.
Expected behaviour
Nothing should happen.
Actual behaviour
Search field takes focus and search widget is opened.
Operating system
Windows 10
Version of Telegram Desktop

Installation source

Logs
If I close search widget with an X it stops taking focus until I visit the group again.
I can't always reproduce this but I do encounter this quite often. That's been an issue for a while now.
