Image caption issue with @ mentions in group chats #28673

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a group chat in Telegram Desktop.
  2. Press Ctrl+V to paste an image in the chat.
  3. Start typing a caption for the image.
  4. Type "@" to mention someone in the group chat while adding the caption.
  5. Notice that Telegram doesn't suggest group members to mention.

Expected behaviour

When typing "@" in the caption field, Telegram should display a list of group members for easy tagging.

Actual behaviour

When typing "@" in the caption field after pasting an image, no group members are suggested.

When you try to send an image in a chat (group) using Ctrl+V, and then attempt to assign someone by typing @ while adding a caption to the image, Telegram does not suggest any group members.

The list of group members does not appear as it usually does when typing @ to tag someone.
