[Feature Request] Admins filter in Group Chat #3452

Open zarEclEC opened 7 years ago

zarEclEC commented 7 years ago

This isn't https://github.com/telegramdesktop/tdesktop/issues/3015. I would like to have a button

in same place on the right, when, pressed, shows you admins of a group. Please 👍

Iirc you can't apply admins filter unless you're an admin, that's server side limitation, but I'm not sure.

Also, what exactly are you asking for? You want some button which hides everyone but admins from participant list?

Yes,

this would do .

Impossible! My client can see who has a star and who has not, so a filter would be client-side

stek29 commented 7 years ago

@Mistero5050 client side filter requires loading whole list. That's inefficient, slow and would trigger flood limitations. "The right way" is to use ChannelParticipantsFilter. And I just checked and I was wrong -- normal user can use any filter except kicked.
