I can get fingerprint scanner, but face recognition? wut?

Are there any standard APIs besides apple's Touch ID?

@Startname no, recovery isn't possible and doesn't make sense -- if you've forgotten the password, just log in again.

@Startname That's not the API I was talking about. I'm talking about API operating system provides to encrypt data and have biometric auth for decryption.

@stek29 sorry. in operating system win10 can use of windows hello for Face verification and ... but this API Available for apps universal windows (UWP). I think it can also be used in Win32 applications or more 🤔🤔

@Startname This will require storing the passcode :( currently it is not stored at all, you just try to decrypt you auth data by the passcode you've entered and see if it fails or not.
