Feel free to leave the pull request open and help me figure out the todos.

Solid start! Is it ideal to just add comments to the commit via github? If so, I'll braindump some later today or in the am...

bachp commented 9 years ago

I updated the branch. However to comments now seem to be outdated? I thought they should stay on the first commit :(

quartzjer commented 9 years ago

It's pretty close to merge-able even as is... do you want to add links to all the right places, or merge it when you're ready and I can help linkify all the terms?

quartzjer commented 9 years ago

@bachp on your session vs. exchange question, I don't think there is a difference really, the term "exchange" simply means "a session between two endpoints", it's the name of the session state for e3x.

quartzjer commented 9 years ago

What do you think of using the term "Endpoint Key Set" to refer to the 1+ cipher set public keys that represent an endpoint (and are used to derive its hashname)?

bachp commented 9 years ago

I don't see the necessity for this term. Isn't this already defined by "Cipher Set"? I would prefer "Endpoint Cipher Set" or do you understand something different under this term?

quartzjer commented 9 years ago

I mean a specific set of keys for an endpoint, for an endpoint to share its connectivity information it has to provide the public key material from all of the cipher sets it's using... it's just something I find myself trying to say clearly sometimes.

@bachp could I merge this and then start updating it, or do you have some changes you want to make here yet?

bachp commented 9 years ago

@quartzjer It's fine with me to have it in the main branch.Thx.
