This is how it looks now:

It is Grid focused. It has a Grid with paging, filtering and sorting.

The Grid has a detail template containing an Chart and issues description.

The first item is expanded by default.

There are two tabs one for our issue and one for the React issues:

Please take a look at the current state of the app and advise if any improvments can be made.

• There is an extra empty space at the top left corner of the demo area. To avoid it, I suggest to align the title with the tabstrip: To me, it make more sense the title to be left aligned and the tabstrip to be right aligned. If the tabstrip is not visible enough we could add a background color #e1e5e9 to the tabstrip element, like this:
• there isn't enough space to display sorting icon in state column, it could either set a larger column width or hide column menu for that column:
  • there is a bottom shadow added to the detailed cell with scroll: Could it be aligned to the row border, otherwise it looks like a visual glitch and it is better to hide it.

A few theme glitches: Filter menu

• separator border between filter and sorting should not be black, use theme styled border;
• dropdown lists are not properly styled according to material design. There should be no rounded corners in the dropdowns. Select and hover states of dropdown list have 2px thick border: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ux/blob/master/themes/material/dropdowns.psd

• missing separator between action buttons
