Some changes on the english file, mostly for using Crowdin to online translation.
Where to translate?
Enter project to translate https://crowdin.com/project/tematres
(free to join and to download. Actual translations was also uploaded so your work is not lost)
Just translate! No need to submit changes to github (but you can), as all changes can be uploaded to github by developer Diego in a single PR.
Changes:
A- Small bug/typo fixes.
B- Including comments for translators.
If a string is:
define("TR_acronimo","RT"); /* Related Term */
when translating in Crwodin https://crowdin.com/project/tematres , users will get a comment to help their work.
This can be greatly improved: comments in code and pictures in Crowdin
C- Added 4 new strings for version control to be used in Crowdin translation project.
Actually they are only visible in the language file to track file changes (version / date). Can be displayed in Tematres interface in the future if required (will require codding!)
Those new strings includes comments for translators. In details:
Master language file version and creation date (YYYY-MM-DD).
It will not be translated (will be hidden from translators, autofilled from master when downloading from crowdin)
Translation language file version. Will be used after the master version number. Can be translated so proofreaders can track minor changes to their translation file. Will be used after the master version number.
define('LABEL_i18n_TranslationVersion','01');
Translator info
In order to remove personal data from each translation file (making easier the GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation compliance) the translator info was removed from the language file. Now there will be a single generic field for author information. As translation will be a community effort using Crowdin...
define('LABEL_i18n_TranslationAuthor','Community translation for TemaTres.');
