Hi.
I have the same problem. The app works fine, but nor can I change the focus
point, neither adjust focus with the arrows.

The green focus point is on the right side and will not move. Some images:

Yes, the green focus rectangle is displayed, and tapping on different area the
camera execute focus, but not on the tapped area, in the green boxed area.
It's strange because if i change the focus point on the camera, dslrdashboard
draw the gren focus rectangle in the right place.
I try to write down an example:
My camera is connected to my tablet running dslrdashboard, via usb or via wu-1a
(it's the same, i tried in both mode)
Now i'm in live view in dslrdashboard, and i see the green focur rectangle in
the center of the screen.
I tap in a right area outside the green rectangle.
I can ear focus motor running and the camera correctly focus the green
rectangle area, but the area has not moved on the right where I touched,it
remained where it was.
Now i toggle live view mode on dslrdashboard, and change the af-point directly
on my camera, and set it on the extreme right center point.
I switch again in live view mode on dslrdashboard, and the green focus area has
been properly designed on the extreme right center point.
I tap now in anywhere outside the green rectangle.
Focus motor run and the camera correctly focus the green rectangle area(extreme
right center point), but the area remained where it was.
I hope had explained the problem well.
I also noticed that the face recognition mode works properly, and the green
boxes moving correctly chasing people's faces

OT. but not too:

When i open the AF-POINT change form, it open but is empty, and when i try to
tap anywhere, application crash.
I've sent log twice, but if you need other, ask.

I'm able to execute any kind of test, feel free to ask anything you need !

Thanks in advance!

I ve download version .33 d3200 test.
Correctly install an run,but nothing changed about the focus problem.
Unfortunally in this version i'm not able to send log after crash.
If you want ask me for additional test, or try to explain me what you think are
wrong, i can make some modify to the code, build it and try by myself.
Thanks again.

Not sure why it's not working as it should.

The focus selection dialog will not work as there is no D3200 code. I was only
trying to fix the live view focus selection.

How many focus points has the D3200? 9?

Original comment by hub...@gmail.com on 25 Feb 2014 at 9:51

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Nope, d3200 have 11 focus point as above:

Ok, will add D3200 to the focus point selection with 11 points.
The LV focus still puzzles me as with the code added it should work. Does focus
changing work in Nikon WMU?

Thanks,
The Nikon WMU app is the most useless application on the Earth, with it i can
only press shutter!!!

Just a question , the face recognition is managed by the app or is a camera
function?

Original comment by FlyN...@gmail.com on 27 Feb 2014 at 6:12

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
It is a camera feature and managed by camera.

I'd like to try some test by myself but code on git is very old.
Have you plan to update the source code on git?
Thanks in advance.
