Aragon has a finite amount of treasury funds. After that the platform needs to be sustainable. Since Aragon is funding projects building on Aragon, if those projects generate positive cash flows or experienced token appreciation, Aragon would want to capture some of that future upside. A SAFT model would allow Aragon to give projects a loan that could be converted to tokens in the future.
