organize our git resources #17

I am trying to organize our git resources and could use some help. @DeirdreLoughnan @wangxm-forest could each of you tackle one of these tasks:

  1. Review our learn git repo and make sure there is nothing private on it. @legault had it private, but I'd prefer it public (which I made it) so it is easy to share. I saw nothing we could not make public, but one more set of eyes would be appreciated.
  2. Add the sandbox as another part of the aforementioned repo if possible.
