Firefox crash on ArrayCollection debug #47

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Try to debug ArrayCollection type in Flex application.
2. Create watch expression for variable of ArrayCollection type.
3. Firefox crash.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Variable value.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Eclipse Helios 3.6.1
Java 1.6.0_22
Flash Builder Burrito 4.5 release
Flex 4.1.0.16076
Flash Player 10.2 Debug
Firefox 3.6.13
Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick

I checked it on 2 machines with exactly the same software versions and clean 
install from scratch.

Home PC: 
Eclipse Helios 3.6.1
Java 1.6.0_24
Flash Builder Burrito 4.5 release
Flex SDK 4.5.0.17689 Hero
Flash Player 10.2 Debug
Firefox 3.6.13
Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick

Workplace PC:
same instead Flex SDK 4.1.0.16076

On home PC everything is fine. 

On workplace PC I can't make Flex 4.5 even to work and get error: 
"VerifyError: Error #1014 Can't find class 
spark.components.supportClasses::ItemRenderer"

I checked bin-debug folder it see that plugin copy 
Flex/4.5/frameworks/rsls/spark_dmv_4.5.0.17689.swf as 
bin-debug/spark_4.5.0.17689.swf file. 

Can you please explain why?

I have the same problem with the 20697 build of the flex 4.5.0 sdk. 

Looks like the <flex-sdk>/framework/libs/spark_dmv.swf is being copied to 
spark_4.5.0.20697.swf instead of <flex-sdk>/framework/libs/spark.swf

A work around is to manually define the spark.swf as a library dependency.

No idea why flashbuilder is doing this.

I have the same issue as well. I tried the workaround mentioned but that didn't 
seem to work. I'm new to Flex so perhaps I did something. I just added the 
spark.swc file to my project build path. Is that pretty much the workaround?

I also had to set the libraries to be merged into the code rather than used
as rsl's.

i also have this problem, when i construct a test project and add spark.swc to 
the build path it works but not when i try this on a larger project. don't know 
how to solve this.
