Failed to connect; session timed out. #48

I swapped from Windows to Ubuntu 10.10 recently and I was delighted when I 
found this project! But debug mode isn't working... It opens the browser and 
sits for abit before Eclipse gives me the error:

Failed to connect; session timed out.
Ensure that:
1. You compiled your Flash application with debugging on.
2. You are running the debugger version of Flash Player.

I tried to install the debugger using gandarans steps on the thread 
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1691583&page=2 but this was to no 
avail. I was wondering how others go about debugging in Linux?
