Application Crashing #194

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. In System Preferences, in sound
2. In input/output going from Soundflower(2ch) to (inputs) External Mic or Line 
in or (outputs) headphones

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should leave all applications be, but google Chrome crashes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.1 on Mac OSX 10.7.5
