Frozen Installer Doesnt allow Hardware Audio Units and/or Studio Software

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing gets all the way to "validating packages" and doesnt move at all 
unless all audio units are unplugged(Traktor DJM-T1 and Traktor Audio 6)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Installed software. The installer stuck. Tried both of the versions on download 
1.6.6b and 1.5.2

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Macbook Pro Aluminum 17" not unibody 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 duo 4 GB Ram
OSX version: 10.7.1 

Please provide any additional information below.
Was able to get it to pass the validating packages after unplugging all 
Hardware Audio and exiting every application( LOGIC, Ableton Live, Traktor and 
GarageBand) unsure which is the one that did it.
