A TTO-TTO contraction with a zip-up algorithm provides good initial pivots for a subsequent TCI2 interpolation of the TTO-TTO product with caching.
The most reliable TTO-TTO algorithm will be
(1) zip-up with two or three half sweeps to create initial pivots,
(2) A few TCI2 sweeps until convergence.
