What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Object changes do not track a history or version
2. Updating, removing, etc by who and when is not tracked

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The desired functionality is to audit object revisions so old version can
be reverted too and deleted object can be restored. The current
functionality is that any change history is lost, and who and when it
happened is not tracked.
