No split option is available in encrypt pdf action

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
alfresco-community-4.0.d. OS-Windows XP

PDF split is a different action entirely from PDF encrypt.  Can you please 
explain further what you are expecting here?

Hi, Does the latest version for Alfresco Share(1.0.0) contain PDF split and 
merge functionality?

Yes, the latest 1.0.0 release of the PDF toolkit includes both split and merge 
functionality.  These actions are available both as Share Document library 
actions and as actions for use in content rules.

Take a look at the 1.0.0 release screencast linked on the project home page, it 
shows the split action being used in a content rule.
