Since some hosts may not be able to sync to MIDI clock, or this may not be desirable, it would be nice to have an option to send regular MIDI notes from the plugin. This way, they could be routed to an instrument and manual beat-matching could be done there.
Note that the output notes should follow the tempo calculated by the plugin, not the incoming beat.
