Add support for MariaDB querying #11

In preparation for the Spark 3 transition, Kafka queries are to be replaced with MariaDB queries while retaining support for both for backwards compatibility.

Done with adding MariaDB support for now, waiting for finalizing of the merge strategy with other pth_06 updates.
