Chinese Text can't appear correctly in preview #42

Hi,

when I preview a chinese subtitle, all characters become 口口口口口 like this:

How do you run Jubler? Where do you see this? If it's on mplayer, have you checked on other players? Have you tested the players with the correct font that supports these characters?

Thanks for the questions! I run Jubler on MacOS 12.6.3. (Sorry if I'm not answering your question correctly, coz I'm not familar with IT things) Yea, I saw it on mplayer and I don't know how to change the font on mplayer. Actually I can read those characters on Jubler, but not on mplayer. I have tried to change font on Jubler, but it didn't influence mplayer. Which player else does Jubler support? How can I change to other players?

Can you save the subtitle file as SRT, make it have the same name as the video file, and use a player like VLC to see what's happening?

I did what you said and it works on VLC
