set custom brightness for termux #2698

It will be cool to set custom brightness when termux window is active and restore it back on inactivity. The problem is that termux with the small font and absolutely black OLED background requires higher brightness level for comfortable use comparing to other applications with big sized elements and bright themes. When I use termux and firefox at night I need to change brightness level every time I switch between these apps manually.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this feature request, hope you'll correct me if it's wrong.

You mean having a different brightness level when termux is open and foreground? Then if you switch to another app you get the normal brightness level, and switching back to termux restores the custom brightness? This can be done, but I think it's more of an enhancement for termux/termux-app rather than an API issue, if I understood correctly. Let's wait for the input of another maintainer to confirm this.

You can use Tasker for this feature. Less code to maintain for Termux devs.
