[Bug]: termux-usb -l loads infinity #2907

Problem description

hello when i type termux-usb -l it loads infinity and show no devices , when i plugin a usb my phone recognize it so i know that the usb stick is supported

now i want to use a wifi adapter TP-Link Nano Wlan Adapter (that supports monitormode) but cant check if it recognize the adapter because the endless loading

(wanna only use wifite2)

please fix it thanks , and great work :)

Steps to reproduce the behavior.

termux-usb -l sudo termux-usb -l

What is the expected behavior?

should list devices

Did u install Termux-API app?

I have that problem. termux-api is installed.

Termux application version: 0.118.0
Android OS version: 11
Device model: LG G7 Onne

Don't install termux from nethunters repo in fdroid which is very old. Current termux version is 0.118

I had same the issue , I type termux-usb -l , and enter and there is no message for long time , so any idea for this issue ?

Can you elaborate on this? Both versions say 0.118.0 And just to verify were on the same page, is that the last version 1/10/22 meaning, January 10 ?

@all I had the same problem. Solution was there. termux-api both app and package are needed https://github.com/termux/termux-app/issues/3113#issuecomment-1327181152

Remember that the signature keys must be the same. If you have installed Termux from FDROID then you take the APK https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.termux.api/

If you have installed Termux from Github then take this APK https://github.com/termux/termux-api/releases

sorry, i had the same issue before and i believe this how to solve it

2apk need to download and install first which termux.apk second was termux-api.apk from fdroid..

then only pkg in termux-api..

do try it and figure it out.

and of course pkg install termux-api libusb clang as mention in termux-usb
