start to create a new observation
swap to detailed mode
select "device location"
accept any prompts
accept the warning that your coordinates are outside Australia
Expected:
App makes it obvious saving won't work.
Actual:
The geolocation question shows a green tick, so you think you can still save. When you try to save it will fail though. So this is only a low priority as nothing will break, it's just not that nice from a UX perspective.
I'm not sure what the fix should be. To use the existing framework for validating, you need to make sure that the value from the call to get device geolocation is not stored.
