As this is the last week for proposal 11597 we would like to publish a first version of a report to show the progress we have made so far but also to engage with partners.

• This is not our final report
• According to the initial proposal, we are way ahead of schedule which is good
• This is designed to be CEX/DEX agnostic so we can the community updated without disclosing sensitive / confidential discussions which may be ongoing

PART 1: The new mechanism

Here is how we plan to modify the USTC mechanism to lock/burn/tax/etc on-chain. [Basic explanation/diagrams]

PART 2: The role CEX/DEX play

Here is how CEX/DEX need to interact with USTC for this to work. Here is what they need to do. Here is what they will get in return, why it does not unbalance the system, here is what they miss out on if they don't participate.

Here is the range of probable outcomes. Here is how the system prevents another total disaster from happening if everything goes wrong at the same time.

PART 4: Conclusion
