Reduce number of variables in the DA - eg: only expose the variables that are needed by the majority of users (eg: 80% of users)
Move the variables that are not needed by most users to a json input. See landing zone DAs as example (override_json input).

Looking at moving the pipeline properties into the new pipeline property JSON support. This should significantly reduce the number of inputs

Will be addressing this in an upcoming release, reducing the number of optional properties, grouping related variables and improving descriptions.
