Diacritics not imported correctly from a shape file #817

List the CGR information

Describe the bug (clear and concise) When importing the following shape file that contains geo-object names with diacritics (e.g. Chiúre) these diacritics are not appearing correctly but being replaced by other symbols as per the screenshot below: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2emb47ueuz58in9/DIS_INE_20000101_present.zip?dl=0

When importing the list as a spreadsheet the problem does not happen. Here is the corresponding list for that shape file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rws37d3c0hihjbk/DIS_ML_20000101-20131217.xlsx?dl=0

To Reproduce As the SA, RA or RM

  1. Upload the shape file mentioned up there (meaning that a geo-object type should exist for it)
  2. Go to the lists & spatial data module
  3. Create a set for that geo-object type (single date for example)
  4. Open the instance of the list and see the error: diacritics not appearing correctly

Expected behavior (clear and concise) The diacritics are imported correctly from the attribute table of a shape file

It seems this might not have been the first time as reported in ticket #427

From the above screenshot the proper text should be like this --> Chiúre not ChiAore
