The Imagery Data Manager (IDM) is an open-source and cloud-based application built for the US Department of Interior that provides a cloud-based solution which cost-effectively stores, manages, processes, and shares imagery.
I want to report an unspecified error when using the IDM portal.
I am going through one of the training exercises we give out to our FS pilots, to prepare for a training session we will deliver next week. In one part of the exercise, I navigated to a collection of photos that had been processed into data products, using the ‘Products’ tab. I wanted to test whether those products would be viewable as a web service in ArcPro, so I clicked the ‘publish’ button.
The ‘loading’ icon then appeared, for a long time, ~15 minutes, before I received this message:
As instructed, I tried the operation again, receiving the same result. I then cleared all browsing data from my Microsoft Edge browser, which I am using to access the site, and signed out of and back into IDM. I tried again, same result. I am disconnecting from the USFS VPN, and I’ll try it one last time. What would you recommend I try next? Should I represent this functionality as a ‘work in progress’ when I present this material next week?
