Description

Weekly UAV scans of Maricopa fields, for example: https://terraref.ncsa.illinois.edu/clowder/collection/576d8b20e4b0058ffbb2b20d

decide how these should be added to data pipeline
- do we want to automate this?
align to gantry coordinates
visualize
compute plot level summaries, insert into BETYdb

@rickw-ward what is the status of the 2016 UAV data? I see we have uploaded NDVI. Are there other datasets to upload (height? temperature?) Do you have plot level summaries ready to upload (or have we already done this?)

More to come from 2016 and also started collecting data on the 2017 wheat crop.

2016 data needs work. I'm catching up with our situation now.

we can put the full field stitched scans on ROGER under sites/ua-mac/Level_1, upload these to Clowder, and separately insert the plot level summaries into BETYdb as traits.

@rickw-ward Not sure if this is on the way but when I overlay plots on the file named "set 88 june 13 2016 run 062316_rgba_thermal_ir.tif" it appears to be incorrectly georeferenced (twisted clockwise relative to the N-S axis of the gantry field)

I’ll send a qc’d geotiff in the AM. That thermal geotiff wasn’t georeferenced.

We have focused only on RedEdge camera derived NDVI for now for season's 1 and 2.

@SaraHarders can you confirm these are the most recent revisions of these files (check dates?).
