Thanks to help from majick regarding the iexdir command I'm making progress on getting syncing going between iVim and MacVim. I've put all my vim directories in a directory on iCloud Drive and can navigate among them from within iVim.
However, I've run into a wall on the MacVim side. MacVim doesn't have access to iCloud drive. It's not on the list of apps in /system preferences/icloud/icloud drive/options.
Does anyone know if it's possible to add apps to this list?
It did not occur to me previously to try the “Files” command in the MacVim menu bar. Alas, using its subcommands it is possible to open and save files in iCloud Drive.
