2 years ago So yeah, it's normal that these presets to be different. The Plaid refresh shares a lot of the same signals as the Model 3 & Y so a lot is known about these vehicles. The Pre-refresh S&X's signals were reverse engineered by the community (none of this information is really available from Tesla.). There is an active community maintain and reverse engineering the 3 & Y (and now Plaid) but there is no such person curating the pre-refresh S&X.
I do update the signals from time to time as new data comes out, but I'm not actively keeping the databases up to date in an aggressive fashion. The whole point of tesLAX is that it is configurable. You can import your own DBC's and configure your own gauges to accommodate changes to the data on the can bus (Tesla makes changes OFTEN and can break or remove signals). By making it possible for the user to make these changes themselves (unlike some other apps) you are not beholden to my update schedule to react to such changes.

Hi,
Is that normal that with trial 5 free days there is not so many gauges under S & X EVs Pre 2021? I can find a lot of them under different Presets like 3 & Y or Plaid. I would to purchase Extended Release 1.0 but I am not sure if I will be able to see more data under battery tab.
